About Me

I’m Sarah, I am 54 years old & living between the beautiful Balearic island of Ibiza & Dorset in the UK, with my partner & two adult children of 21 and 25.  

I have been studying, training & qualifying in multiple psychotherapeutic counselling disciplines since 2011, including post graduate Diploma qualifications from the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology & The Beck Institute; Mental Health & Wellness practitioner certification, Certified CBT Practitioner & Cognitive Coach, Holistic Wellbeing Coach, Business Mentor & D.V. Trauma Recovery volunteer support.

I am also a certified 500 hr Yoga teacher with Advanced Anatomy & Physiology training, meditation & mindfulness teacher & breathwork facilitator. I have additional certifications in Yoga for Nervous System Regulation & Somatic Yoga.

My journey into coaching & mentoring began in 2010 when I was going through a very traumatic part of my life and I needed to find the tools to recover & rebuild my emotional strength & resilience. At the time I was a single parent to two young children & working full-time in pretty rubbish, dead-end job as it was the only thing that I could find that fitted around the kids. I didn’t have the time or money for therapy so I began studying at night to heal myself. The framework I built to get through that time now forms part of the structure I share with clients in my coaching & extended mentoring programmes.

Today, my purpose & my greatest passion is coaching & mentoring mature women aged from mid 40’s and beyond, who feel that they have lost that crucial connection to who they really are; to help them rediscover their own sense of purpose and passion for life - and to make the route back to peace & fulfilment as inspiring, empowering & joyful as it can be.

About my mentoring style

I mentor women aged from mid to late 40’s & onwards who have come to a point where they realise they are feeling overwhelmed, unfulfilled, disconnected from their sense of self and are feeling that they are lacking direction or purpose. 

I help bring clarity & focus into every area of their lives  so they feel aligned, inspired & empowered as they move into their greatest era yet.

The majority of my clients - and my speciality age group -  are 50 / 60 plus, however I work with many clients from their 40th year onwards.

Like many women who are heading towards their 50’s & beyond, you may be falling out of love with the job you have done for many years and might be wondering if it's too late to shift into another path (spoiler alert - it’s not!)

Perhaps your intimate relationships are changing and you are feeling a lack of connection to your life partner, your friends, social groups and wider society. Maybe your whole family dynamic has changed with kids (if you have them) becoming less dependent and elderly parents needing you more. You may have experienced or be going through a divorce or other significant relationship upheaval.

Maybe you are at a point where you’re thinking ‘Is this it? Is this all there is for me?’ when really you want to be thinking ‘YES! THIS IS IT!’ with a sense of joy and optimism. Together, we can action real change, right now, to ensure you spend the coming years deeply reconnected to your sense of self, tuned into your own unique & true essence and feeling empowered - knowing who you really are at the core of your being.

Working together, we’ll get behind all of the ‘stuff’ that is blocking you; all the built-in layers of responsibility, the years of dedication to other people & to other commitments, so that you can move forward into the greatest era of your life feeling like you are living in alignment with who you really are and where you want to be.

And this can look different for everyone. For some of you this is about reassessing key areas of your life and making big changes, following dreams and revisiting ambitions that have been on the back-burner for way too long and making space in your life for more things for YOU; the things that make you happy, bring you contentment, that reignite your spark & make you feel like you are living within a broader spectrum of purpose, autonomy & self-empowerment.

And this can often mean learning to be a bit more selfish, ( I prefer to use the term self-fulfilling) and this can really be difficult if you have given, given, given, sacrificed and haven’t made your SELF a priority for so many years.

For other women it may be more about learning how to get off the career merry-go-round; maybe you are considering leaving behind the working life you have been committed to. Perhaps you are looking to find more peace and contentment in simplifying your life - ‘Letting go of what is no longer serving you.’ And to do that you have to be able to identify the things that are no longer showing up in your life in a way that brings  you peace and contentment.

You could be coming in to your greatest era yet - however, if you are not really feeling connected to who you are, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, frustrated, unfulfilled & despondent - if you know you want to feel better about this stage of your life & onwards, then NOW is the time to start making changes.

The most economical - and the most transformational - way to work with me is through my Six Month or Twelve Month Mentoring programmes.

By giving this commitment to consistency over a 6 or 12 month period we can create real change in every area of your life. Working together in this continuous way allows us the space to really underpin your expansion into a tangible new way of living, feeling and being, with practical actions that we can curate, develop and incorporate into your day-to-day life. These longer commitment programmes allow us to explore a 360 degree approach to your ideal life-state; from the emotional, physical & spiritual facets to the more occupational, relational & societal elements of living a truly fulfilled, connected life, with you in the driving seat.

We start with a deep dive month of weekly sessions before we move onto bi-weekly sessions. The first month of sessions is where we really lay the groundwork for the mentoring relationship; this is your opportunity to spend time unpacking what it is that you need and diving deep into what is not working in your life right now. The key value of working together on a weekly basis for the first month is that very often clients can’t initially put a finger on what it is that they are unhappy about, or the areas of their life they need to make changes in.

Embarking on this first month of weekly sessions means that you don’t have to show up forearmed with anything. You can show up saying “I’m not feeling content, I don’t know what it is, but I’m just not feeling like life is working for me in the way that I wish it was.” We break it down together in the first month of weekly sessions.

Weekly sessions in the first month are a big commitment, so on the 6 & 12 month mentoring programmes it is possible to alter the regularity of the sessions where needed, but it is really important to keep a level of consistency as this is where change really happens. 

If you are not ready to commit to a 6 or 12 month programme - or if I do not have any availability immediately (as I only take on a limited number of long-term clients at any one time) then we can still work together on a week by week or month by month coaching basis.
